This four-story government office building, with three elevated levels of parking for 250 cars adjacent to it, features an architectural precast concrete façade that matches the adjacent buildings. The new building and parking structure were constructed on the former site of a surface parking lot, creating more density and meeting the owner’s need to create a large building for the Government Services Administration.

The office and parking structure use similar designs for their architectural precast concrete spandrels and column covers, incorporating a special concrete mix design that includes pigmented cements and specially colored aggregates. The panels were sandblasted to match the adjacent buildings’ textures.

The structure was constructed on a fast-track schedule that allowed the owner to save considerable money by minimizing the temporary and valet parking for the adjacent office tenants who had previously parked on the surface lot.
